About

Laras Anindita, S.E., M.M.

Nusantara Raya School of Economics

A lecturer and researcher in public governance. This is where I collect academic work alongside lighter notes — on budgets, data, and how institutions make decisions. Some of it is written for fellow researchers, some for anyone who wants to read public documents without feeling they must become an expert first.

LAN Values

Lucid · Accountable · Near the ground — the core values behind all of this work.

L

Lucid

Writing to be understood, not to sound clever. Technical terms are used only when there is no substitute, and explained once, where they first appear.

A

Accountable

Numbers are cited with their source and year. Findings that are not yet solid are called not yet solid, rather than wrapped in sentences that sound certain.

N

Near the ground

Studies start from problems actually met in the field, and end with advice that people working there can act on.

Vision

To make public documents something ordinary citizens can read, not just auditors and fellow researchers.

Mission

  • Publish studies whose methods are open to re-examination.
  • Translate academic findings into writing that can be read outside campus.
  • Help local institutions design indicators that measure results, not activities.
  • Keep an archive of writing that can still be cited years later.
